The Crane Operator is responsible for inspecting the condition of the work area. Operator must be aware of how much material can be lifted safely based upon weather conditions and the capacity of the crane. Additionally, operator inspects and maintains the crane against any defect or malfunctions.

A crane operator must be physically fit to preform all assigned duties effectively. Good eyesight is also an important physical quality required to be successful in this profession. Dexterity and balance is crucial in maintaining safety. The operator must also posses a valid drivers license for operating a self-erect Potain HDT 80 crane.

Position Requirements, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Must be willing to travel and work in other provinces
Have at least three years of verifiable work experience
Able tto work 9-12 hour shifts a day. Working on weekends and holidays will be required.
Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate safety equipment at all times.
Be 18 years of age or older and be authorized to work in Canada.
Have excellent attendance records, verifiable work history and references.
Have impeccable work ethics and the desire to learn and grow.
Must have a background in crane and rigging.
Must have a valid crane operators license.
Training can be provided for the Potain HDT 80 self erect crane.
Have a high school education or equivalent, and a good mathematical aptitude.
