Important advice:
Don`t risk your house and investment on the ( guy next door, jobber, amateur, low baller) kind of guys who work for cheap, even ridiculous low price, a lot of them don`t even have a registered compagny, no insurance protection, and of course most of the time
deliver very poor job, that`s why they don`t have any choice except to work for way cheaper than the market, and DO NOT take their word for registration or insurance covering, so easy to say, ask for written proof , it’s so important... So be very careful
when choosing, cause your so call good deal can turn out into a real nightmare very fast...we hear about sad story like that on the regular basis, (exemple of what we hear and see with our own eyes: very messy job, not done the right way, guys that started
a job and never show up again, cuts that look like waves more than a straight line, paint spots on the ceiling , paint drop on carpet furniture, ruining them as a result, laminate, tile, install the wrong way, gape and nailholes not filled in trims and basebords
install and so much more...) and since there`s no regulation in Calgary, they are everywhere, anybody can work in skill trade here unfortunatly... So we strongly suggest to try with a small job first to see how it goes.
