We are in search of a full time warehouse worker with forklift operating experience to join our warehouse team immediately. Job hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday in our busy West End warehouse location. Some overtime hours may be required.
Job duties consist of but are not necessarily limited to;
- Picking orders and rolling/packaging sheets of Formica into rolls for easy transport.
- Loading/unloading trucks, sea cans, & railcars of interior finishing building materials by forklift. Care and attention must be taken to avoid damaging product.
- Ability & experience to confidently and safely operate forklifts with carrying capacities of 8000-10000 lbs is required.
- Manually staging lumber/sheetgoods orders by hand. The ability to handle 100 lbs will be required.
- Completing waybills and filling out paperwork accurately.
- Accurately shipping and receiving outgoing and incoming products.
- Proper labeling & organization of newly received product.
- Communicating regularly with customers, coworkers, couriers.
- Maintain a clean & organized work space. Sweeping floors & general cleanup duties.
Previous experience is required and reliable transportation to & from work is a must. We operate a lean yet efficient warehouse team so punctuality, a positive attitude, and good communication skills are required attributes for the successful candidate to join our team. Starting wage is $17.00/hr.
The position available is a full time temporary position. We are looking to fill the role as soon as possible. Timeline of work to last a few weeks potentially longer.
