Canadian Ambassador Roman Waschuk opens Ukrainian Canadians Exhibition in Kyiv

The Ukrainian Canadians Exhibition opened its doors on Feb. 12, in the Ukrainian Diaspora Museum, in downtown Kyiv. The exhibit featured works of William Kurelek, a Canadian-Ukrainian painter, sculptures by a Canadian-Ukrainian artist Leo Mol (Leonid Molodoshanin) and a number of books and relics belonging to Mykola Plaviuk, the last leader of Ukrainian People’s Republic in exile. The exhibition was supported by the Canadian embassy in Ukraine, with Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine Roman Waschuk delivering an opening speech.

The exhibition will be available from Feb.13 until May 12, on weekdays between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Ukrainian Diaspora Museum, 40B Moskovska St.

The photo gallery was produced as a part of the Journalist Exchange Program by Media Development Foundation with the support from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). Content is independent of the donor. kyivpost
