Hoetmer Honey Company Inc. is looking for employees to fill the following positions for the 2019 season:
4 APIARY TECHNICIANS (NOC 8431), applicants must have 2 years Canadian beekeeping experience and a valid drivers license. Wage is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience. Activities cover all aspects of beekeeping honey production, extracting, winter preparation, record keeping, recognize & apply colony pest/disease treatment and colony/equipment maintenance. Must be able to supervise and train other workers.
6 APIARY FARM WORKERS (NOC 8431), applicants should have basic beekeeping knowledge and a valid drivers license. Wage is $15.00 - $16.00 per hour based on experience. Workers will be assisting with all aspects of beekeeping honey production, extracting, winter preparation, and equipment maintenance.
6 APIARY FARM LABOURERS ( NOC 8431), no beekeeping knowledge or experience is required. All applicants must have a valid drivers license or reliable transportation to and from work. Wage is $15.00 per hour. Workers will be assisting with most aspects of beekeeping honey production, extracting, winter preparation, and equipment maintenance.
All applicants must be in good physical condition and able to work directly with bees. All work is full time March to October 2019, 40+ hrs/ week including some evenings and weekends.
