Self-Motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic WANTED

Heavy Duty Mechanic required for our growing conventional logging company. We are looking for an experienced shop & field mechanic to troubleshoot, repair and maintain a variety of heavy-duty logging trucks and trailers.
Your main area of work will be Merritt-Cache Creek, BC, with call-outs to Boston Bar, Lytton & Spences Bridge.
Freelance or Contract mechanics are welcome to apply.
If you are a resourceful individual, able to think outside the box and possess the following skills and abilities, you are our Man!
You have extensive knowledge of older diesel engines, transmissions, brakes and suspensions
You are skilled in the diagnosis and repair of electrical systems on trucks and trailers
You are experienced in welding & cutting
You are self-motivated and able to work around heavy equipment in a safe manner.
Education required: Secondary School
Valid Class 5 Driver's with clean Drivers Abstract
Welding certificate & Forklift training an asset
Your Wages are negotiable, depending on your level of Experience
Your work-schedule is flexible but requires weekend work.
