The ZINGER features two steering levers, one on either side of the seat and requires two arms to operate. The controller is on the right steering lever (only) and the speed is controlled by pressing the trigger. The rider pushes both levers down to go forward, pulls them both up to brake, and pushes one while pulling the other to turn to either side.
This enables you to pull right up under tables or desks because there is no joystick in the way like with bulkier power chairs.
The footrest swings out of the way when you stand up or sit down, more like standing up from a kitchen chair without any heavy footplate in the way. With its rugged lightweight aluminum frame, the ZINGER's 47 lbs lifts onto a car seat or into the trunk, you can even gate-check it at the airport like a stroller.
