AgZone Inc. is a growing family owned and operated business. We are looking for the right candidate to work as a HD/Agricultural journeyman mechanic. We are seeking an individual who is energetic, works well with customers and is self-motivated. Agriculture mechanic experience is an asset.

As the shop/field mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of repairs, service, maintenance and set-ups of new and used equipment in the shop, and in the field with our fully equipped service truck. Through in-house training and on the job learning, we are fully expecting you to develop extensive product knowledge.

HD/Agriculture Mechanic Key Responsibilities

The HD/Agricultural mechanic will be responsible for performing a wide variety of repairs, service, maintenance and set-ups on agricultural and light commercial equipment. This will include all equipment sold by AgZone Inc., in addition to used equipment of other brands.

Key responsibilities are as follows:
+ Perform all field calls and field service work
+ Complete all required technical training
+ Participate with the on-call service, with shared responsibility between key personnel during busy hay season
+ Work as a team with the service adviser, which includes informing him/her what parts are needed for a job
+ Provides excellent customer service and ensures ongoing commitment to the needs of the customers and their vehicle/equipment
+ Use computer diagnostic equipment to help troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment
+ Perform light duty welding work

Key Qualifications:
+ experience in the agricultural industry
+ flexibility in working extra hours when required
+ ability to deal effectively and courteously with the public, even in difficult situations
+ knowledgeable in the use of computers, texting on cell phones, emails
+ basic keyboarding skill
+ ability to write, present and respond to customers and staff members in a professional manner
+ minimum of a Class 5 license with a clean 5-year driver’s abstract
+ criminal Record Check required, due to training in the USA (must be able to travel abroad)
