We are a reputable, long standing residential drywall contractor looking to hire a fulltime Field Superintendent to efficiently manage the resources required to complete our drywall projects.
JOB SUMMARY:
Our Field Superintendent works out of our Southside office and is required to spend most of the day visiting jobs sites in the greater Edmonton area. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 4:30pm. The successful candidate will be provided a company vehicle to use and will be eligible for health benefits after three months. Salary commensurate with experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verify job site readiness
- Measure job for required materials, input material counts into the computer and coordinate delivery of those materials
- Maintain communication with key employees in our company as well as our customer’s site superintendents to ensure work is progressing as expected
- Supervise and meet with our subcontractors to resolve issues with unsatisfactory work
- Complete quality control checks to ensure we deliver a superior product
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience and industry background essential
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract with at least three years driving experience
- Comfortable with moderate use of computers, cell phones and email
- Must be self-managed/directed
- Must have strong communication, organizational and time management skills
