Sexton Transport is a well-established Saskatchewan based trucking operation responsible for the safe, efficient and damage free delivery of products to Kenroc Building Materials branches across Western Canada, as well as other national customer locations. Sexton also provides transport services into the United States when required.
Sexton is currently looking for fulltime Long Haul Drivers.

Our ideal candidate would be an experienced (5+ years) SUPERTRAIN FLAT DECK ROLL TARP DRIVER with a Class 1A License.
Some of the key responsibilities of this position include:
• Overseeing all aspects of the condition of the truck unit, including loading/unloading, safety and product security.
• Performing both pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Performing emergency roadside repairs.
• Obtaining special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
• Record keeping of cargo information, distance travelled, fuel consumption and other information in log books.
• Proactively communicating with dispatcher and other drivers on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada
• Ability to access/travel in/out of the United States
• Ability to complete emergency/mechanical truck repairs
• Ability to problem-solve
• Aptitude for detail
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Experience completing logbooks, inspection reports and pre/post trips
