Join me for a 4 week - 8 class Ashtanga yoga workshop!
I'm an experienced yoga practitioner, with a 200 hour Ashtanga yoga certification from India. I was taught under Guruji Namito who practiced with BKS Iyengar and Pattabhi Jois. My focus is on proper alignment and injury free yoga!
Ashtanga yoga comes with all the benefits of a regular yoga practice--strength, flexibility, stress management, and inner peace. Because the series is so demanding you will get really strong really fast. There is no part of the body that doesn't work hard in this practice.
The workshop is designed to introduce you to the foundational poses of Ashtanga. We will use props and modifications to help assist and deepen your asanas.
Upon completion of the workshop you will be able to participate in "Mysore" style Ashtanga classes, offered at various studios around the city. You will have basic knowledge of the primary series, and you will have memorized the sun salutations!
We will have a 5 person cap to ensure I can offer enough individual attention.
Classes will be offered at a studio on 107th ave and will commence the week of October 9th, 2018.
Practitioners to select what two days work best for them. We will go with the majority.
Available class times are as follows:
Tuesdays at 8pm
Wednesdays at 7pm
Fridays at 630pm or 7pm
Saturdays at 4 or 5pm
Sundays at 10 or 11am
$50 required to hold your spot. Please indicate which two days work best for you.
