I am excited to be teaching piano and voice lessons again this year.
I currently charge $50 for a half hour lesson. I love teaching one-on-one lessons because it allows for such a unique and personal experience with each of my students, as individual students/parents will often have different goals. Some parents/students want just the excitement of being exposed to music. Some want to start working towards classical testing through Royal Conservatory. Some students come in wanting to learn how to write music and chord on the piano. Some want to learn how to chord and play music in their church worship band. Some want to learn how to sing professionally as a singer on tour. Every student is unique and has different goals and styles of music they like to listen to, which is what makes my job so exciting because I tailor fit the classroom to your individual goals. If there is something you or your child would like to learn or are concerned about, I want you to let me know so that I can make this experience unique and special for your child.

I am a John Lennon Songwriting Contest finalist, have been nominated for three Covenant Awards, and have songs play on the radio internationally. Being surrounded by a strong musical legacy was always an inspiration for me. My father sold over a quarter million albums, owned an independent record label, and was the visionary of a creative arts conference in Edmonton called Break Forth. I started to write songs and play piano at the age of three and went on to be trained through Suzuki and the Royal Conservatory of Canada in both piano and voice. Over the years, I have sung on over 20 albums including many projects with my brother, Jared Salte, who is a record producer, lead singer in The Royal Foundry, and songwriter in Nashville. I have also started traveling extensively internationally as a musician and road manager. My obsession to grow as a musician lead me to pursue my Bachelor of Arts with Music Major at Vanguard College. Later, I went on to teach and lead the music program at CLBI College in Camrose as well as at Sherwood Park School of Music. This year I am also teaching at Progressive Academy.

I am excited to be teaching this year and I look forward to continuing to be a part of that adventure with you.
