is available for rent year round on a weekly basis during
the summer months, and weekend/weekly during all other dates.
Situated in the City of Kawartha Lakes and
is on the Trent Severn Waterway.

Our cottage is in a very friendly neighbourhood situated
on Washburn Island in Little Britain offering easy
access and parking is available for at least 4 vehicles
Room for your boat, snowmobile, PWC.

1-1/2 hour drive from Downtown Toronto.
This year round, 3-bedroom cottage is on a large
waterfront lot with tall trees and mature gardens.
Lots of room for children to play and enjoy the
outdoors no matter what the season.
Enjoy leisure walks, bicycle rides or relax and enjoy
the scenery from a large deck overlooking the lake.

Lake Scugog is Toronto's closest gateway to the
Trent-Severn Waterway and offers an ideal destination
for cottagers, boating/snowmobile enthusiasts and
sport fishermen. Fish for Bass, Crappie,
Musky, Perch and many more. Local marinas are
available to satisfy your boating needs. Enjoy
canoeing or kayaking to a local sandbar
and meet new friends.

The cottage offers air conditioning,
sleeps 7 comfortably and has
hardwood floors, high ceilings
with skylights, lots of windows
overlooking the deck and lake.
The cottage is furnished and offers a
bright open living space.

We are pet friendly, however because of allergies
we are sorry to have to state no cats.
Please note we are 100% smoke free.

The main floor has one bedroom with a queen bed
including a walk-in closet. The second bedroom has
double/single bunk beds and walks out to a large deck
offering a beautiful view of the lake. A third bedroom
with a queen bed is located on the lower level.
The kitchen is very spacious and is well equipped
with a full fridge/freezer, stove/oven, dishwasher,
microwave, slow cookers, coffee maker, kettle,
pots and pans, utensils, linens and kitchen staples.
Please note we have a high chair and a
portable playpen/sleeper if you need for a little one.
The water is government tested and UV sterilized so
it is excellent to drink.
Walk out to the large deck from the kitchen and enjoy
the picturesque view of Lake Scugog.
The deck offers patio furniture, barbecue grill and
lounge chairs for your pleasure.

There is a 4-piece bathroom (sink, toilet, bathtub,
and shower) upstairs and a 2-piece bathroom
(sink and toilet) on the lower level. For your
convenience there is a washer and
dryer on the lower level. The walkout basement to
the lake is furnished and offers a cozy family
lounge/game area. The cottage offers high speed
internet, satellite TV, DVD and VCR players,
radio/CD player, karaoke machine. There is a library available of
VHS and DVD movies, board games
and a selection of outdoor lawn games for all ages.
Enjoy fishing from the 30 ft. dock and take
pleasure with the use of the 16 ft. canoe,
14 ft. aluminum rowboat,
three 10 ft. sit-in kayaks,
and bicycles. We do supply some approved lifejackets
and required legal safety kits.
The shoreline is 85 ft and also offers a
sandy beach area for young children to enjoy the water.
If you would like to bring your own boat or personal
watercraft, a boat launch is 2 minutes away
(free of charge). The lake offers local
Marinas/Restaurants/Gas to satisfy your
boating needs. If golfing interests you, there are
several golf courses for your enjoyment not far away
in Little Britain, Lindsay,
Port Perry, Uxbridge, Manilla and Peterborough.
In the evenings, lounge and enjoy a campfire with
friends and family amongst the stars.
Some firewood is supplied for outdoor fire pit!!

During the winter months Lake Scugog offers
ice fishing and snowmobiling as a popular favourite
pastime.Sled from your doorstep for a bite to eat in
Port Perry, or sled to Great Blue Heron Casino,
enjoy a brunch and try your luck.
Or explore and connect on to the many trails and
experience the great outdoors wherever you may go!

LINENS:
We understand some clients prefer to bring their own
bed linens/towels from the comforts of their home,
however for your convenience we offer readymade beds
with fresh linens and towels for a fee of $75.00.

CLEANING SERVICE:
If you require a cleaning service
(for the end of your stay), there will be an
additional charge of $100.00.

ICE FISHING:
During the ice fishing season we offer a portable,
6 person ice shelter available to rent for a fee of
$99.00/ weekend.
